When an average guy stumbles upon a secret so powerful it could change the course of humanity, and a cover-up so big that the President is on a need-to-know basis, answers can only lead to bigger questions.

Confused? You will be. It very much looks as though NBC are trying to hook in the people who miss Lost, or 24 - but with both of those, you knew what to expect (sort of!) and whilst they were far-fetched, they were fun to watch.
The Event is a little confusing, with all the time-jumps, but nevertheless, it's immense fun; even if you could have written the script yourself. The acting is also non-descript at times; but I won't hold that against them!
I'll continue to watch it.

Yes we did need something to watch after LOST that is a bit loopy and The Event is fits the bill so far!
I got really "lost" in episode two of The Event but I've not given up yet!
